Yesterday I posted a sample of a Sheldon Brown "OBEY" sticker. Here's version two -- admittedly less edgy, but conveys a nicer message. Do you like this one better?
I like the thanks version better too, i think it's more inclusive, which was more in character with him. I'd buy a handful to keep around to stick on any sort of oddball bike that he'd appreciate (which is most of my fleet, as it turns out).
I like them both as well. Laughed out loud when I saw the "Obey" one. I think if I had my choice though I would go with the second one. It just seems to be more like him. Let me know when they are available.
I like v2 better than v1 but think you have a still-better v3 in you. Might just be that the photo is too busy at a small size in this treatment. Maybe it's the "harshness" of the red and black, Constructivist feel of the usual Obey Giant or "Che" designs.
I picture bikes with Capt. Bike stickers that seem less fierce, more humane, more generous-spirited, maybe more mischievous. Salt of the Earth meets renaissance man meets bicyclist.
I like v2. Besides a small sticker I'd be into a version with decent resolution that could be printed as a small poster. That would look nice in my new workshop.
I, too, am in on this, and prefer v2. But as anonymous said, perhaps there is a v3 in there? Let's not be in a rush for these. I would be happy to wait until the right idea hits you.
i really dig this graphic. i'd love to use it for the fliers advertising the Sheldon Brown April Fools Day ride here in Portland, and maybe on some stickers to pass out at the ride.
Jim G, What's the good work on this? I like them both, and would be in for a bunch -- good wishes to send to lots of biking friends. redcliffs[at]hotmail.com

I like 'em both, but this one's sweeter, with a wide appeal (like the man himself!). If you make only one, go with this design.

Good idea about a bicycle tube sticker.

Maybe a version with AUSHTA on it instead?

Would that be okay with you?
