Planet Bike Super Spot -- Discontinued?

Looks like Planet Bike has axed the Super Spot 1-watt LED bike headlamp.

That's too bad, because although it isn't perfect, I thought it was one of the better sub-$50 LED headlamps available.

Of course, now I'm wondering if they'll be coming out with an improved model?!?

I have one, but it's nowhere near as good as my dinotte. I'm really looking forward to seeing new Cree based headlights.

Right, there's no comparison between a Super Spot and a Dinotte. But, for example, I think that the Super Spot is much more usable than a Cateye EL-500, and the Cateye costs more to boot (alas, if only the Super Spot was as weather-resistant as the Cateye!). I have a couple of Super Spots, I'm planning on modding one with a Cree XR-E LED driven by a Taskled bFlex driver, and some improved heat-sinking.

Planet Bike is coming out with a 2 and (I believe) 3 watt headlamp next month. I don't remember what these will retail for, though.
